My Halloween Description

Halloween

How Halloween started:
Halloween began as the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, which marked the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter, when the Celts believed spirits of the dead returned to earth.

Halloween started when some people found out that there was such thing as ghosts, monsters, haunted Houses and scary stuff.

In Halloween day back in 1950 lots of people proved it that spirits rise from the dead and that's why ghost are real and also thats why they believe in the devel.

Halloween also begin on a year 1950 31 October.


What was the problem of Halloween:
Back in the year of 1950, thousands of people were fighting to take away Halloween.

Some people also thought that scary stuff were unacceptable and not real. The only thing they believe in is church and jesus christ.

Why are people collecting candy on Halloween day:
In the old days the peoples that went for Halloween is celebrating it so they decide to have a treat of it because they think that they deserve it.

Why do people dress up so scary on Halloween day:
People dress up so scary which represents ghosts and devils and a lot of more scary stuff.

My Speech About Sports

This week for writing we are focussing on speech writing. Today in our writing lesson we learnt about speech presentations and the structure of a speech. We also brainstormed different topics for speech writing this week. 


I have decided to write a speech about Sports because it gives you lots of power and energy and its fun! I will be writing mainly about soccer because this is one of my favourite sport. This a fun, energetic sport and I look forward to researching more interesting information about this sport for my speech presentation next week.

My Play About Mr Brown

Today I read a story about Animal court this story is a play. We are practicing our presentation skills as this will help us prepare for our movie making project next week.

The character I play in the story is Mr Brown.

The book I was reading was about Mr Hare and Ms Tortoise, it all began as they were racing. Mr Brown which was me, was the owner of the farm. Mr Hare was racing Ms Tortoise when Mr Hare stopped to have a break of a carrot at Mr Browns farm, Mr Brown got upset because Mr Hare should of not tode him, and plus Mr Brown wanted to save his carrot and eat them for dinner. I think Mr Brown is a good person because he acts normal.
